About The Position
The SAP MDG Business Systems Analyst position is a contract role based in Foster City, CA, primarily focused on Master Data Management (MDM) and Master Data Governance (MDG) within the SAP S/4 HANA environment. The consultant will be expected to work onsite 3-4 days a week, collaborating closely with various teams and stakeholders to ensure effective data management practices are implemented and maintained. This role requires a deep understanding of SAP modules, particularly in manufacturing contexts, and the ability to navigate complex data integration points across different systems and processes. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data management solutions, with at least 7 years of experience in the field. They should be well-versed in tools such as Collibra, IBM IGC/UG&I, and Talend, and possess significant experience in the automotive or transportation industries. The consultant will be responsible for overseeing the full lifecycle of Master Data Management projects, ensuring that all data specifications are accurately prepared and aligned with business needs. This includes working with various SAP modules such as MM, PP, and QM, and understanding the intricacies of product lifecycle management (PLM) integration. In addition to technical expertise, the role demands excellent communication skills to liaise with business users and management, as well as to coordinate with external consultants and vendors. The consultant must demonstrate initiative and the ability to work under pressure, meeting tight deadlines while maintaining high-quality standards.
