About The Position

We are seeking a highly skilled SAP Master Data Leader to join our team and take ownership of master data governance, quality, and maintenance across the enterprise. This role will be critical in ensuring that our SAP systems are supported with accurate, consistent, and reliable master data to drive business processes efficiently. The ideal candidate will have strong functional knowledge of SAP master data domains and a keen eye for detail, governance frameworks, and best practices to help us build a robust data foundation for business growth and transformation. Owens Corning Glass Reinforcements is a business unit of Owens Corning that is in the acquisition sign to close process. Owens Corning has signed an agreement to sell Glass Reinforcements to the Praana Group. The deal is expected to close by the end of 2025. The path ahead will be dynamic, full of change, and expected to be fast paced with a change in ownership. The business operates from twenty (20+) locations across the globe. The information technology environment supporting our new company is being built from the ground up in terms of IT infrastructure and applications with the opportunity to leverage new technologies and new ways of thinking as we look to end a transition services agreement associated with the acquisition as soon as possible. All IT team members may be assigned IT Engineering responsibilities, focused on designing, building, and maintaining technology systems that support business operations. These assignments ensure secure connectivity, scalable platforms, and reliable data flow to enable efficient production, supply chain management, and enterprise-wide digital transformation—especially during the separation from Owens Corning. Roles may be temporary or ongoing and can include direct ownership of IT service delivery for one or more manufacturing plants.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in information systems, Computer Science, Business Administration, or related field
• 7 to 10 years of experience in SAP Master Data Management and governance
• Experience with SAP S/4 Cloud migration and greenfield deployment projects
• Experience with data governance frameworks, harmonization, transformation projects
• Proven expertise in data domains (Customer, Vendor, Material, Finance, BOM, Routing, Product Hierarchy, etc.)
• Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Excel, SQL, and data profiling tools
• Knowledge and experience with data tools employing AI technology to drive quality and productivity is a plus
• Excellent communication and cross-functional management skills
• Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, global, and cross-functional environment

Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain master data in SAP across key domains (Customer, Vendor, Material, Finance, etc.)
• Ensure compliance with established data governance policies, standards, and procedures
• Oversee data creation, updates, deletions, and validations to maintain accuracy and consistency
• Implement processes for data quality monitoring and cleansing
• Proactively identify and resolve data issues, duplicates, or inconsistencies
• Partner with business stakeholders to ensure master data aligns with operational needs
• Support the design and execution of SAP Master Data Governance (MDG) workflows
• Establish approval, validation, and change control processes for master data
• Contribute to audit and compliance initiatives related to data management
• Work closely with finance, supply chain, procurement, and sales teams to ensure accurate and timely master data availability
• Collaborate with IT and business partners to support data migration and transformation projects
• Provide training and guidance to business users on master data processes and tools
• Maintain clear documentation of master data processes and procedures
• Provide guidance to end-users on correct master data request practices
• Own IT service delivery for assigned manufacturing sites, maintaining strong relationships and ensuring operational excellence
• Collaborate cross-functionally to deliver IT services aligned with business needs during organizational transitions, including separation activities
• Participate in the design and implementation of secure, scalable, and reliable technology solutions that support core business operations and digital transformation
• Ensure manufacturing connectivity and data flow across enterprise systems, enabling efficient production and supply chain processes
