About The Position
Apex Systems is seeking a highly skilled SAP PP/IM Consultant to support a large automotive client in deploying SAP Production Planning (PP) and Inventory Management (IM) functionalities. This role is fully remote and is expected to last for 12 months, with the possibility of extension. The consultant will play a crucial role in understanding and transforming the current business processes across various regions and plants, ensuring that the implementation aligns with industry best practices and technologies. The consultant will begin by gaining a comprehensive understanding of the existing legacy Material Requirements Planning (MRP) systems and their integration with upstream and downstream systems. This will involve collaborating with various stakeholders to analyze the current processes and identify opportunities for improvement. The consultant will conduct requirements gathering, business analysis, and fit-gap analysis to assess the current state and define the desired future state, identifying key functionality and process gaps along the way. In addition to recommending technology and process solutions to address identified gaps, the consultant will develop a transformation roadmap that minimizes operational disruptions. The role also includes deploying SAP S4 PP across multiple global sites and ensuring seamless integration with legacy systems and other best-in-breed applications. The consultant will be responsible for coaching and training team members on PP business processes and providing ongoing recommendations for continuous improvement in the manufacturing operations.
