About The Position
The SAP Functional Business Analyst I plays a critical role in supporting and enhancing the SAP system to meet the business needs of KLS Martin. This position requires collaboration with various departments to understand business processes, gather requirements, and configure SAP modules, including but not limited to SAP SD (Sales and Distribution), MM (Materials Management), FICO (Financial Accounting and Controlling), and PP (Production Planning). The role is foundational and ideal for individuals eager to grow their expertise in SAP and contribute to the organization's success by driving efficiency and innovation. In this role, the analyst will engage in requirement gathering by closely collaborating with business stakeholders to thoroughly understand and document their needs. They will assist in translating these business needs into functional specifications for SAP solutions. The analyst will also support the configuration of SAP modules to ensure alignment with business processes and will be involved in testing and validating configured solutions to ensure they meet the business requirements. Additionally, the SAP Functional Business Analyst I will conduct thorough analyses of existing business processes to identify opportunities for improvement or automation using SAP. They will provide recommendations for optimizing SAP processes to enhance efficiency. The role includes delivering first-level support to end-users, efficiently resolving issues related to SAP functionality, and collaborating with the technical team to troubleshoot and resolve more complex issues. Documentation and training are also key components of this position. The analyst will develop and maintain comprehensive documentation of configurations, processes, and system changes, as well as assist in developing training materials and conducting user training. Participation in SAP implementation and upgrade projects will be expected, offering functional expertise and assisting in testing, go-live activities, and post-implementation support. Continuous improvement is a focus, with the analyst expected to stay updated on the latest SAP developments and best practices, contributing to continuous improvement initiatives within the SAP landscape.
