About The Position

The SAP Finance Functional Analyst is responsible for delivering and supporting SAP solutions that enable Finance operations. This role partners with business stakeholders to gather requirements, evaluate SAP capabilities, and implement scalable solutions aligned to enterprise standards. The analyst ensures system stability, data integrity, and end-to-end process continuity across SAP Financial modules and integrated commercial processes, including interfaces with SAP and non-SAP systems. Key responsibilities include solution design, configuration, testing support, issue triage and escalation management, and driving continuous process and system improvements.

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of experience configuring and supporting SAP Finance systems.
  • Experience supporting SAP S4/HANA, specifically General Ledger, Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable.
  • Hands-on configuration experience with SAP modules relevant for this role, as detailed previously.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Arts/Sciences (BA/BS) Computer Science or related field
  • Ideal candidate will have subject expertise in finance business process and technology within their scope of responsibility.
  • Ability to build relationships and effectively communicate with team and stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
  • Problem Solving – have the ability to think through multiple scenarios for a given problem or issues, then come up with the best approach that makes sense for all parties, long term and short
  • Demonstrated ability to manage and deliver multiple concurrent projects.
  • Strong organizational skills, ability to prioritize and manage workloads and exercise a high degree of adaptability required to coordinate and manage across multiple organizations, processes, and initiatives.
  • Must be customer-focused and demonstrate strong written and verbal skills.
  • Strong collaborative skills and ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with Electronic Bank Statements (EBS) is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Support and maintain the SAP production environment by providing governance over the design and configuration of defects, solving end user problems and answering module-related questions.
  • Responsible for unit, integrated & regression testing; including building test cases, performing tests and making changes to configuration or processes based on results while adhering to the agreed upon business requirements.
  • Provide functional and technical support including configuration for SAP modules, supporting global requirements across all geographies.
  • Engage the internal business customers to identify resolutions for issues raised.
  • Develop functional specification for custom ABAP development, and enlighten the development team of the business requirements.
  • Work closely with SAP teams, non-SAP teams and outside Vendors that need to interface with SAP Financials.
  • Work with other non-SAP systems used by the Finance business users should the need arise.
  • Partners with applications managed services team to provide Level 3 support.
  • This position may require some travel, both domestically and internationally based on project requirements.
