The work The SAP Finance Consultant will be responsible for gathering and analyzing business requirements, designing and configuring SAP FI solutions, and ensuring seamless integration with other SAP modules. This role includes developing functional specifications, coordinating with technical teams for enhancements, conducting system testing, and preparing end-user documentation and training. You will provide ongoing production support, assist with closing activities and collaborate closely with finance stakeholders to optimize processes, drive system improvements, and support full lifecycle implementations, rollouts, and upgrades.

Requirements

• 5 + years SAP S/4HANA and ECC Finance experience
• SAP Finance subject matter expertise in two or more of the following domains: General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Asset Accounting
• Experience with SAP Public Sector Financials
• Experience with Funds Management to include the ability to track (and control) detailed budgets organized by Fund (source of budget), funds center (area of responsibility), and commitment item (type of expenditure)
• Configuration experience and the ability to create a budget for each level of this 3-dimensional structure
• Deep expertise in S/4HANA GL and month-end close
• S/4HANA project experience
• US Citizens only (no dual citizenship)
• Minimum of an active Secret Clearance
• You must live local to St. Louis, MO (preferred) or Philadelphia, PA OR be willing to travel to St. Louis every week Monday-Friday

• Aerospace & Defense or U.S. Federal manufacturing/MRO project experience
• Bachelor's degree in a related field

Responsibilities

• Facilitate interaction with technical counterparts to ensure technical solutions meet all functional requirements
• Develop test strategies and managing large complex test efforts
• Business process design and system analysis
• Coordinate and manage across architects, developers, technical services (i.e. BASIS, Middleware, Portal) and business analysts to perform business analyst functions and responsibilities
• Maintenance, enhancement and/or development of SAP modules, including interfacing with other applications
• Budgeting, staffing, forecasting and work planning
• May manage a team, including mentoring and training junior team members
• Gather requirements and design solutions to meet these requirements
