About The Position

The Boeing Company is seeking a Junior SAP Finance and Data Analyst to join the SAP S/4 Center of Excellence. In this role you will support Enterprise SAP S/4 Finance functional and architectural design across business units and grow under the mentorship of experienced SAP Finance specialists. With a foundation of a bachelor’s degree in accounting, you will conduct research on processes, applications, systems, and data to identify functional requirements and translate them into clear functional specifications for SAP. You will assist in developing and executing test plans to validate SAP system functionality against requirements. Success in this role requires strong teamwork, clear communication, attention to detail, and effective time management in a corporate environment. This is an opportunity to build SAP Finance expertise while contributing to enterprise-level solutions and continuous improvement. The role reports to the Senior Manager of SAP Finance in the SAP CoE Organization. Position will be remote with occasional in office when necessary. Anywhere near a Boeing facility but preferably in St. Louis, Philadelphia, Seattle, Dallas, Miami, or Ridley Park, PA.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Accounting
  • Able to travel both domestically and internationally
  • Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Associate) and typically 2 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Bachelor+1 years' related work experience, 5 years' related work experience, etc.).

Responsibilities

  • Perform basic research of Financial Processes, translate and adapt them into SAP processes.
  • Support identification of functional requirements for application or system design in SAP
  • Translates basic business requirements into functional specifications.
  • Assists in the development and execution of tests to validate system functionality against specifications.
  • Build presentations of process solution designs
  • Develop and maintain relationships and partnerships with peers, customers, stakeholders, and partners
  • Support the functional and development team in designing solutions that are aligned with the current architecture
