About The Position

An SAP FICO, Application Lead is responsible for designing, configuring, and supporting the SAP ECC and S/4HANA Finance modules, ensuring optimal business process alignment and technical solutions. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise across key Financial Accounting (FI) and Controlling (CO) modules, including General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Banking, Fixed Assets and Taxation. The role involves end-to-end project participation, requirements gathering, system configuration, integration, troubleshooting, and collaboration across functional teams. Experience with Central Finance Systems and Group Reporting will be a significant advantage.

Requirements

  • 6+ years’ hands-on SAP ECC and S/4HANA experience in Finance domains with multiple end-to-end implementations.
  • Experience with Central Finance and Group Reporting
  • Strong understanding of Finance processes (GL, AR/AP, asset management, BCM, Extension ledger, Parallel ledgers, Currency valuation, Taxation, etc.)
  • Expert in SAP configuration using SPRO/IMG for Finance modules.
  • Ability to analyze business requirements and translate them into system specifications and SAP solutions.
  • Integration skills with other SAP modules and legacy systems
  • Having good understanding of SD and MM module is must
  • Excellent communication, documentation, and teamwork abilities.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with SAP Fiori apps and S/4HANA Cloud platform is desirable.

Responsibilities

  • Lead or participate in full SAP ECC and S/4HANA project lifecycles for Finance modules configuration and implementation.
  • Configure Finance functionalities: General Ledger (GL), Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Asset Accounting, Leasing (CLM), Revenue Recognition, and Controlling modules.
  • Analyze business requirements, provide solution designs, and document functional specifications for SD and Finance processes.
  • Perform system testing, user acceptance testing, and data migration efforts; resolve system bugs and provide post-go-live support.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to align business processes with technical delivery, including participation in global rollouts and change management.
  • Deliver user training, documentation, and conduct workshops for business users.
  • Maintain process and systems documentation to support compliance, audit, and future improvements.
