About The Position

As the SAP EWM Senior Functional Analyst, you will formulate and define systems scope and objectives based on user needs, utilizing a solid understanding of application systems and industry requirements. You will devise or modify procedures to solve problems considering system capacity, limitations, and desired results. This role involves performing business analysis of systems and following through the entire development life cycle. You will be responsible for defining detailed requirements, analyzing business needs, and validating solutions with the client. Additionally, you may evaluate requirements documented by others and modify, maintain, and update complex ERP configuration and program routines. You will serve as a senior subject matter expert with content, processes, and procedures associated with enterprise applications, educating others in the workflow, business processes, and reporting metrics enabled by ERP modules or other applications. This position may also involve managing projects with medium budgets or of intermediate duration, providing mentoring and direction to team members, and participating in IT financial management activities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 5+ years of functional experience in SAP Extended Warehouse Management with 2-3 end-to-end implementations on SCM9.5 or S/4 HANA.
  • Solid knowledge in SAP EWM Master Data integrations, Inbound, Outbound, and Internal Movements warehouse processes.
  • Hands-on experience in configuring different features in SAP EWM.
  • Good understanding of ABAP Development, Debugging, custom objects such as BADI, functional modules, ALV Reports, etc.
  • Experience working with business to understand their requirements.
  • Good communication skills to translate business requirements into functional and technical specifications.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in EWM Integration with UPS for small parcel using Express Shipping or ShipExec Interface.
  • Experience in EWM Integration with SAP Transportation Management system.
  • Knowledge in other areas of EWM such as Slotting, Labor Management, Resource Management, and Cross Dock.
  • Knowledge in Barcode label printing by Smartforms using Barcodes GS1-128, Code-128, and EAN-13, label printing on Zebra printer.
  • Knowledge in Integration with SAP BI for Reporting, including Standard/Custom reports using Warehouse Management Monitor and Easy Graphics Framework (EGF).
  • Knowledge in EWM Integration with ECC Logistics Execution and Inventory Management.

Responsibilities

  • Define, test, train, implement, and support one or more functional areas within the ERP System or other applications.
  • Monitor other business analysts in software development methods, processes, and implementation of those methods.
  • Provide mentoring and direction to team members.
  • Manage projects with medium budgets or of intermediate duration.
  • Participate in IT financial management activities including annual budgeting cycle, project estimating, capital approval process, project budget oversight, and resource time tracking.
