ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: Leadership & Strategy related functions to include: Lead and mentor SAP team members including an ABAP Developer, Functional Analyst, and BASIS Administrator Establish SAP S4 roadmap aligned with business and manufacturing strategy Drive prioritization, delivery, and support initiative. Promote Agile and Scrum methodologies to drive work delivery Collaborate cross-functionally with Operations, Supply Chain, Sales, Customer Service, Finance, and IT leadership Functional Ownership activities to include: Serve as primary Functional Analyst for Sales & Distribution (SD), Logistics Execution (LE), and Advanced Return Management (ARM) Translate executive and operational business requirements into scalable solutions Configure and optimize SAP S4 modules to support manufacturing and distribution processes Ensure alignment between system design and plant operations Implementation & Technical Oversight activities to include: Lead implementations, upgrades, and enhancements within a manufacturing environment Oversee RICEFW objects, integrations, enhancements, and custom developments Coordinate testing strategy including unit testing, integration testing, and user acceptance testing Ensure system documentation meets internal control and audit requirements Continuous Improvement & Support activities to include: Support production issues and ensure system stability Drive process improvements across order-to-cash and logistics flows Support system integrations including EDI, APIs, CPI, and third-party platforms Manage non-SAP technologies through third-party support agreements Other SAP and enterprise system responsibilities as assigned AUTHORITY: All personnel are responsible for quality and therefore have the authority to stop production, if necessary, to correct quality problems. SKILLS REQUIRED: Strong leadership and team development capabilities Advanced functional expertise in SAP SD and LE (ARM strongly preferred) Strong understanding of end-to-end order-to-cash, logistics, and manufacturing processes Experience managing local and offshore contract resources Ability to operate strategically and hands-on in a mid-market manufacturing environment Experience working within Agile and Scrum methodologies Excellent executive communication and stakeholder management skills Creative problem-solving and continuous improvement mindset Strong change management and organizational leadership capabilities PREVIOUS WORK EXPERIENCE: Eight (8) or more years of progressive SAP experience with increasing leadership responsibility Proven experience implementing and upgrading SAP in a manufacturing company Experience leading SAP teams and managing technical and functional resources Experience with SAP S4 implementation and migration preferred Integration experience including EDI, APIs, CPI, and SAP Commerce Cloud preferred Working knowledge of SAP Finance (FI) preferred Experience in regulated or audited manufacturing environments (automotive preferred) PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Able to sit for long periods of time Must be able to perceive colors and shades of colors Must have 20/20 vision or corrected to 20/20 This position is primarily remote but may require occasional onsite meetings and travel EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, Business, or related field preferred Equivalent combination of education and progressive SAP leadership experience may be considered
