The work The SAP Controlling (CO) Consultant is responsible for designing, configuring, and supporting SAP CO processes including cost center accounting, internal orders, profitability analysis, and product costing. They collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize financial performance and ensure accurate reporting. This role provides expert guidance during implementations, upgrades, and ongoing enhancements.

Requirements

  • 7 + years SAP ECC and S/4HANA Controlling experience
  • 4+ years Dassian PACE design and implementation experience
  • SAP Finance subject matter expertise in end-to-end Product costing processes including Material Ledger functionality with integration points with other modules like Project Systems, Payroll, Materials Management and Finance
  • Knowledge of CO functionality, including Internal Order, Cost Center Accounting, Assessment, Distribution, Cost Transfer etc.
  • Experience with SAP Public Sector Financials
  • Knowledge of SAP Financial Accounting
  • Team lead experience
  • US Citizens only (no dual citizenship)
  • Minimum of an active Secret Clearance
  • You must live local to St. Louis, MO OR be willing to travel to St. Louis every week Monday-Friday

Nice To Haves

  • Aerospace & Defense or U.S. Federal manufacturing/MRO project experience
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field

Responsibilities

  • Lead efforts to gather requirements and design solutions to meet these requirements
  • Facilitate interaction with technical counterparts to ensure technical solutions meet all functional requirements
  • Develop test strategies and manage large complex test efforts
  • Business process design and system analysis
  • Coordinate and manage across architects, developers, technical services (i.e. BASIS, Middleware, Portal) and business analysts to perform business analyst functions and responsibilities
  • Maintenance, enhancement and/or development of SAP modules
  • Budgeting, staffing, forecasting and work planning
  • May manage a team, including mentoring and training junior team members
