About The Position

We are seeking a highly experienced SAP MM Consultant to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for configuring, implementing, and maintaining the SAP MM (Materials Management) module to streamline procurement, inventory, and supply chain processes. This role requires strong functional knowledge, excellent communication skills, and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver effective business solutions. The consultant will handle tasks such as system configuration, process design, testing, training, and post-implementation support, ensuring alignment with business goals and industry standards.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Supply Chain, Business Administration, Computer Science, or related fields.
• 5+ years of hands-on experience in SAP MM implementation and support.
• Strong understanding of procurement and supply chain processes within manufacturing or related industries.
• Experience in SAP S/4HANA is preferred.
• Expertise in SAP MM configuration, including purchasing, inventory management, invoice verification, and valuation.
• Knowledge of integration with other SAP modules like SD, FICO, and PP.
• Understanding of tax procedures and pricing schemas in SAP MM.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
• Team player with a proactive approach to resolving issues.
• Experience in electronic manufacturing or similar industries.
• Knowledge of SAP Ariba or other procurement platforms.
• Familiarity with project management methodologies (e.g., Agile or Waterfall).

Responsibilities

• Gather business requirements and design SAP MM solutions to address procurement, inventory management, material planning, and supply chain needs.
• Configure and implement SAP MM module, including procurement processes (Purchase Requisition, Purchase Orders), inventory management, invoice verification, and vendor evaluation.
• Ensure smooth integration of SAP MM with other modules like SAP SD, FICO, and PP.
• Conduct user acceptance testing (UAT) and troubleshoot issues to ensure successful system go-live.
• Provide training and documentation for end-users, ensuring efficient use of the system.
• Monitor and optimize system performance while adhering to best practices and compliance requirements.
• Support global rollouts, upgrades, and migrations, including S/4HANA implementations.
• Work closely with stakeholders to ensure effective material master data management and compliance with company policies.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and recommend SAP-enabled solutions to achieve efficiency.
