About The Position

The SAP Concur Travel and Expense Operations Manager at IBM is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the Travel & Expense (T&E) SaaS platform, particularly for federal agencies. This role involves managing the implementation, testing, and operational support teams while ensuring adherence to industry best practices and governance models. The manager will also develop both short-term and long-term strategies for continuous improvement in T&E operations, aiming to enhance service delivery and operational efficiency.

Requirements

• 10 years of experience in managing large scale Travel & Expense transformation projects from end-to-end.
• 10 years of experience working as a leader in support of a T&E operations center.
• Experience leading medium to large sized projects involving multiple customer stakeholders.
• Advanced experience engaging with client stakeholders to determine process improvements.
• Excellent customer relationship management skills with effective communication.
• Agile management experience, including project management and developing multi-year strategy improvement roadmaps.

Nice To Haves

• 10 years of experience with Travel & Expense Shared Services.
• Strong Federal T&E transformation expertise.
• At least 7 years of experience with project reporting/financial management.
• Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the day-to-day operations of the T&E SaaS platform during Operations & Maintenance.
• Direct all aspects of T&E Operations for federal agencies, including implementation and testing.
• Align T&E processes and procedures with industry best practices.
• Enforce the overall governance model for T&E operations.
• Design strategies for continuous improvement in supporting operations for federal agencies.
