The Sales Development Specialist is responsible for identifying and creating new qualified opportunities for their Account Executives. This includes qualification of all inbound and outbound leads via the phone, web, email, corporate events, and direct mail campaigns. SDRs who establish high performance and are strong representations of the SAP Concur Core Values will have potential for new challenges and career advancement within the SAP Concur organization.

  • Report to a Sales Development Manager who values in-the-moment coaching and autonomy.
  • Own your territory as if you were running your own business.
  • Build knowledge of SAP Concur's product offerings, competitors, and customer outcomes.
  • Overcome objections and face challenges in prospecting and calling.
  • Communicate Concur's value propositions to key decision makers.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with sales and marketing teams.
  • Achieve and exceed weekly and monthly metrics (appointments, qualified leads, new contacts, conversations of value, etc.).
  • Engage with leads through various channels such as phone, Drift chat, web, email, corporate events, and direct mail campaigns.
  • Leverage digital assets and employ a multi-channel approach to maximize effectiveness.
  • Participate in development programs such as leadership development and sales readiness programs.
  • Be recognized and celebrated by peers and leaders through awards and performance rankings.
  • 1-3 years of professional experience, or a post-secondary degree or certification.
  • Demonstrate grit, curiosity, trustworthiness, and teamwork.
  • Value customers' time and diversity and inclusion.
  • Experience in sales or customer service roles.
  • Familiarity with digital sales tools and platforms.
