About The Position

Amcor Rigid Packaging USA, LLC. is seeking an SAP BW Senior Analyst in Manchester, Michigan with a telecommute option. The role involves supporting Amcor's SAP Business Warehouse (BW) processes by identifying business requirements, analyzing existing computer systems related to the SAP BW/BI platform, and coordinating with IT personnel to customize SAP software and other applications to meet business needs. Responsibilities include developing reporting solutions using SAP BW, BusinessObjects BI, SLT, and Data Services, as well as performing end-user support.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Information Systems, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 5 years of progressively responsible experience as an SAP BW Analyst or related IT occupation.
  • 5 years working with SAP BW including back-end cube development and front-end reporting in Business Objects.
  • 5 years performing SAP BW data modeling and design/build of info providers.
  • 5 years performing SAP data acquisition and transformation development.
  • 5 years performing SAP BW/BI Authorization Analysis.
  • 5 years developing BW BEx queries for ad-hoc reporting.
  • 5 years using the Business Objects suite of tools, WEBI, and Analysis for Office/OLAP.
  • 5 years monitoring, analyzing, tuning, and optimizing SAP BW systems.
  • 5 years contributing to multiple end-to-end SAP BI implementation/upgrade projects.
  • 5 years performing ABAP development.
  • 2 years working with SAP BW-Integrated Planning.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and support reporting solutions using SAP BW, BusinessObjects BI, SLT, and Data Services.
  • Architect solutions from a technical standpoint to ensure flexible and robust reporting solutions.
  • Design and develop BW objects including info objects, business content, info sources, data targets, transfer rules, update rules, and BEx queries.
  • Perform SAP BW data modeling and BEx query design.
  • Document test plans and execute unit testing of development objects and reports.
  • Work with business resources to complete integration and user acceptance testing.
  • Analyze and resolve report development issues, including data integrity and software issues.
  • Prepare project-related documentation including object designs and business rules.
