About The Position
A.O. Smith is seeking a skilled professional to join their team as a Front-end Analytics Developer. This role involves working collaboratively with cross-functional analysts and users to gather reporting and visualization requirements, as well as documenting functional and technical specifications. The successful candidate will design, develop, configure, transport, test, support UAT, and deploy reporting solutions using Business Objects, Tableau, Microsoft SSRS, and Power BI. Additionally, the role includes providing mentoring on visualization best practices and analytics tools, as well as supporting the enhancement of standard and custom extractors within the BW/HANA environment. The position requires a strong focus on data modeling, security, and data flow design best practices to develop robust and scalable solutions. The candidate will also coordinate incident resolutions and lead root cause analysis for major defects, ensuring that end-to-end analytic needs are met while following established project management processes.
