About The Position

GDC IT Solutions is currently seeking a SAP BRIM Architect to support enterprise billing and revenue management initiatives. This role offers a collaborative environment focused on SAP S/4HANA BRIM solutions, high-volume consumption-based billing, and secure, compliant financial integrations. This role may require occasional on-site attendance at the Commission’s headquarters in Middletown, Pennsylvania, and requires candidates to be located within 1.5 hours from Middletown, PA. As a SAP BRIM Architect, you will be responsible for architecting, designing, and delivering end-to-end SAP BRIM solutions that support subscription-based and usage-based billing models while ensuring system integrity, compliance, and scalability across enterprise platforms.

Requirements

7+ years of hands-on SAP BRIM configuration experience, including Subscription Order Management and Convergent Invoicing.
3+ years of SAP BRIM experience on SAP S/4HANA hosted in a commercial cloud environment.
Experience delivering at least two full-cycle SAP S/4HANA BRIM implementations.
Experience integrating SAP BRIM with non-SAP CRM systems supporting real-time payment processing.
Strong expertise in PCI DSS compliance, secure payment flows, tokenization, and payment gateway integrations.
Experience working with mediation systems for usage capture and rating integrations.
SAP S/4HANA BRIM certifications (BR235, BR240, BR245, BR416).
Experience supporting utility or transportation industry billing models.
Experience with usage-based or consumption-driven subscription renewal models.
Familiarity with hybrid Agile implementation methodologies.
Experience using Azure DevOps or JIRA for backlog and delivery management.
Knowledge of SAP BTP for event-driven architecture and API management.
Experience with ServiceNow for post–go-live support and operations.

Responsibilities

Architect, design, implement, and test SAP BRIM solutions on SAP S/4HANA, including Subscription Order Management, Convergent Invoicing, Convergent Charging, Sales and Distribution, and Materials Management.
Lead business workshops to gather requirements and ensure processes, features, and user stories are accurately captured and approved.
Design and configure end-to-end business processes supporting high-volume, consumption-based billing and revenue management models.
Configure and customize SAP BRIM modules to meet complex billing, subscription, and revenue recognition requirements.
Ensure systems are designed and implemented to meet PCI DSS and SOC1/SOC2 compliance standards.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate SAP BRIM with external systems such as non-SAP CRM platforms, SAP ERP, and payment gateways.
Design data models and integrations to minimize data replication while maintaining data integrity.
Partner with data teams to execute large-scale data migrations, cutovers, and delta loads with minimal downtime.
Ensure seamless handling of customer disputes for migrated transactions with minimal business impact.
Recommend and design effective SAP Fiori usage to improve usability for accountants and business users.
Produce functional specifications and review technical specifications with development teams.
Document features, configurations, user stories, and development tasks in Azure DevOps.
Develop functional test cases, execute functional testing, and document test results.
Review SIT and UAT test scripts and results for completeness and accuracy.
Perform troubleshooting, defect analysis, and resolution.
Develop and deliver training for end users, junior staff, and support teams on SAP BRIM, S/4HANA, and FI-CA functionality.
Create and maintain comprehensive documentation including designs, diagrams, test plans, impact analyses, and best practices in accordance with Commission standards.
Maintain strong working relationships with technical teams, business stakeholders, vendors, and project sponsors.
Work independently while contributing as a lead participant in enterprise system project teams.
Adhere to all Commission policies, procedures, and technology standards.
