About The Position

We are looking for an experienced SAP BASIS Specialist to support enterprise SAP environments. The role involves SAP system administration, architecture support, installations, upgrades, patching, system refresh, troubleshooting, and ensuring system stability across multiple SAP platforms.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in SAP BASIS administration supporting SAP ABAP and Java systems
  • 3+ years of experience supporting S/4HANA, C/4HANA, SAP BTP, and SuccessFactors environments.
  • Experience with SAP implementations or upgrade projects , including S/4HANA migration
  • Strong experience with SAP landscapes including ECC, S/4HANA, BW/BI, CRM, BOBJ, PO, HANA, BTP, Fiori, Cloud Connector, SAC, and Solution Manager
  • Experience with SAP system installation, configuration, patching, upgrades, and troubleshooting
  • Experience working with Linux/Unix/Windows environments
  • Knowledge of SAP change management and system refresh processes
  • Experience with NetWeaver Java solutions, Web Dispatcher, and SAP integrations
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, MIS, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Ability to provide on-call support outside regular business hours when required
  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Ability to collaborate with cross-functional technical teams.

Responsibilities

  • Provide SAP BASIS administration and technical support for enterprise applications.
  • Monitor, maintain, and troubleshoot SAP environments.
  • Perform system installations, upgrades, patching, backups, and restorations.
  • Support SAP system performance, availability, and capacity planning.
  • Coordinate with internal technical teams to resolve system outages or performance issues.
  • Manage SAP system configuration and ensure alignment with IT standards.
  • Maintain documentation related to SAP architecture, administration, and processes.
  • Support SAP security including user administration and access management.
  • Monitor batch jobs and resolve related errors.
  • Participate in disaster recovery planning and testing.
  • Provide on-call support when required.
