About The Position

We are seeking a skilled SAP Basis Administrator to join our team. This role will be responsible for managing our SAP ECC environment, maintaining add-on software tools, and handling SAP integration and SaaS connections for boundary applications like banks and TMS systems. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in SAP Basis administration, experience with relevant add-ons, and a good understanding of SAP integration and SaaS connections.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Minimum of 8 years of experience in SAP Basis administration.
Proven experience with SAP ECC and add-ons installation and Maintenance
Strong understanding of SAP integration and SaaS connections with boundary applications.
Hands-on experience with SAAS installations and Maintenance.
Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
Proven experience with IBM AIX and RHEL system administration and Sybase ASE database administration for SAP: installation, patching, performance optimization, backup/restore, and high availability configurations.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and with stakeholders from different functional areas.

Nice To Haves

SAP certification in Basis.
Experience with SAP HANA and S/4HANA.
Knowledge of ITIL processes and service management tools.

Responsibilities

Manage and maintain SAP ECC systems, ensuring high availability and performance.
Perform system installation, configuration, upgrades, and patching.
Conduct regular system monitoring, performance tuning, and troubleshooting.
Administer and maintain add-on software tools
Ensure seamless integration and optimal performance of these add-ons within the SAP landscape.
Collaborate with functional teams to address and resolve issues related to add-ons.
Manage SAP integration with various boundary applications, including banks and TMS systems.
Ensure robust and secure data exchanges between SAP and external systems.
Troubleshoot and resolve integration issues in a timely manner.
Implement and manage SaaS connections for boundary applications, ensuring seamless integration with SAP.
Work with vendors and external partners to maintain and optimize these connections.
Ensure compliance with organizational policies and industry standards for data security and privacy.
Work closely with other IT teams, business stakeholders, and external vendors to ensure seamless integration and support of SAP solutions and add-ons.
Provide technical support and guidance to end-users and resolve issues promptly.
Participate in SAP projects, including system enhancements, migrations, and new implementations.
