About The Position

The SAP Ariba P2P/S2P Solution Consultant is responsible for delivering expert guidance and implementation support for SAP Ariba solutions, focusing on Procure-to-Pay (P2P) and Source-to-Pay (S2P) processes. This role involves working closely with clients to understand their business needs, configuring SAP Procurement and Ariba modules, and ensuring the successful deployment and adoption of the solution. The consultant will also design, implement, and support SAP P2P processes, including procurement, purchasing, goods receipt, and invoice processing, often within the context of SAP S/4HANA or Ariba. This role involves designing and delivering best-in-class solutions to drive business value, while serving as a subject matter expert in Source-to-Pay (S2P) and Procure-to-Pay (P2P) processes, guiding clients through digital transformation initiatives.

Requirements

• Ability to analyze business requirements and deliver effective solutions.
• Ability to configure SAP P2P settings and customize the system to meet business needs.
• Ability to troubleshoot issues, identify root causes, and propose solutions.
• Depending on the role, proficiency in areas like ABAP development or SQL may be required.
• Excellent communication and client-facing skills.
• Experience in P2P and S2P solution implementation.
• Familiarity with ERP integration and middleware tools.
• Proficiency in documentation and delivery training.
• Strong knowledge of SAP Ariba modules and procurement processes.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.

Responsibilities

• Act as a liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams.
• Assist in solution design, configuration, and deployment activities.
• Be involved in data mapping, cleansing, and conversion during project phases.
• Collaborate with technical teams to ensure seamless integration with ERP systems.
• Conduct workshops, training sessions, and user acceptance testing.
• Design and configure SAP P2P solutions, including modules like Materials Management (MM), Financial Accounting (FICO), and Ariba for e-procurement.
• Document functional specifications, process flows, and configuration guides.
• Engage with clients to gather business requirements and translate them into SAP Ariba configurations.
• Ensure compliance with SAP best practices and client-specific requirements.
• Maintain up-to-date functional documentation for the P2P process.
• Participate in the implementation of SAP P2P solutions, including unit tests, system integration tests, and user acceptance testing (UAT).
• Provide ongoing support to end-users, troubleshoot issues, and recommend improvements to the P2P process.
• Provide post-go-live support and continuous improvement recommendations.
• Provide training to end-users on how to use the SAP P2P system.
• Support the implementation and support of SAP Ariba modules including Buying, Invoicing, and Strategic Sourcing.
• Work with business stakeholders to understand their P2P needs and translate them into functional specifications.
• Work with cross-functional teams, including business users, IT professionals, and SAP consultants.
