The role: In this role you will be a key member of the team creating enterprise applications needed to design, build, and operate the organization’s business services. You will be responsible for developing custom solutions, enhancements, and user interfaces using SAP ABAP programming while also creating compelling analytics dashboards and reports to meet specific business requirements of our organization. About the team Amazon Leo for Government (ALG) Business Systems team is responsible for a suite of products to automate and optimize business operations for Amazon Leo for Government. This is anchored in business process modeling and configuring SAP ERP’s enterprise capabilities to streamline and optimize critical business processes, including Order-to-Cash (OTC), Procure-to-Pay (PTP), Record-to-Report (RTR), and Make-to-Order (MTO). The team also owns Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) and Pricing systems. The solutions are built to comply with applicable Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR)

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Management, Information Systems, or other related discipline
• 5+ years of hands-on experience in SAP ABAP Development
• 2+ years of experience developing reports and dashboards in SAP Analytics Cloud
• Strong knowledge of ABAP programming including ABAP Objects, ALV reports, and SAP Script/Smart Forms
• Experience with SAP modules such as MM, SD, FI/CO, or PP
• Understanding of SAP integration technologies (IDocs, RFCs, Web Services)
• Experience implementing and managing SAP ERP solutions, with a strong focus on SAP S/4HANA
• Knowledge of data warehouse technical architecture, infrastructure components, ETL and reporting/analytic tools and environments
• 5+ years of work in an engineering or delivery role for large enterprise experience
• Experience working effectively across cross-functional teams and partnering well with people at all levels within an organization

Nice To Haves

• Knowledge of SAP Fiori, UI5, and OData service development
• Experience with SAC Planning and Predictive Analytics features
• Familiarity with SAP Cloud Platform, SAP Data Warehouse Cloud, or SAP Datasphere
• SAP certification in ABAP development and/or SAP Analytics Cloud

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain custom ABAP programs, reports, interfaces, conversions, enhancements, forms, and workflows
• Develop and optimize SAP solutions including BAPIs, BAdIs, User Exits, and Enhancement Points
• Create and maintain SAP Fiori/UI5 applications and OData services
• Troubleshoot and resolve production issues in a timely manner
• Optimize existing ABAP code for performance and scalability
• Support SAP system upgrades, migrations, and integration projects
• Develop data extraction and transformation logic to support analytics requirements
• Design, develop, and deploy interactive dashboards, stories, and analytical applications using SAP Analytics Cloud
• Create data models and establish connections to SAP S/4HANA, BW/4HANA, and other data sources
• Build responsive and user-friendly visualizations that effectively communicate complex data insights
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand analytics requirements and translate them into technical solutions
• Optimize report performance and ensure data accuracy and integrity
