About The Position

The Sanitizer – Automation will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of automated equipment specified by Maintenance leadership. This role involves regular cleaning, inspection, and minor maintenance tasks to ensure the efficiency and reliability of automation equipment and processes. What your day will look like: Perform routine cleaning of automated equipment and systems using hand and power tools. Read and interpret manuals or schematics to determine cleaning requirements. Use good communication skills to develop teamwork within the department and operations. Become familiar with warehouse automation system operations in support of prioritizing task. Conduct regular inspections to identify and address cleanliness issues. Collaborate with the maintenance team to develop and implement cleaning schedules. Monitor system performance and report any issues to the maintenance team. Document cleaning activities and report any discrepancies or malfunctions. Ensure compliance with safety and hygiene standards. Provide training and support for staff on proper cleaning procedures for automated systems. Performs appropriate duties as assigned by management

Requirements

  • Minimum of 18 years old
  • Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as required by position and compliance with UNITED safety policies
  • Regular and prompt attendance is an essential function of the job
  • Ability to read, write and speak English
  • Ability to maintain a neat professional appearance within Company guidelines
  • Ability to maintain safety and security of Company assets
  • Ability to utilize all Company provided resources and technology
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or 6 to 12 months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Hand and power tools experience required

Nice To Haves

  • Experience reading manuals and schematics preferred
