About The Position

Clean and sanitizes production lines, production equipment and plant areas according to the Sanitation Schedule.

Requirements

• Requires the ability to follow verbal and written commands, work with others, and the ability to coordinate production with peers.
• Requires the ability to work any shift.
• Must be able to stand 7 hours.
• Must travel up and down 50 steps a minimum of 4 times per shift.
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
• Must climb ladders.
• Must be able to use both hands and arms in full range of motion.
• Pulling, pushing, some twisting and bending is required.
• Must be able to work with chemicals.
• Must be able to work around moving equipment.
• Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Must be able to work on platform, which includes uneven surfaces (roller, plates, and steps).
• Requires the ability to pass a pre-employment agility test.
• Requires the ability to pass a pre-employment drug test.

Responsibilities

• Cleaning and sanitizing equipment and belts
• Cleaning floors, walls, other areas as needed
• Use high pressure and low-pressure hoses to clean surface
• Clean processing machines and areas using proper lock out/tag out procedure
• Use approved chemical to sanitize areas
• Keep work area clean.
• Perform cleaning of area assigned
• Work in a safe manner, observing all safety requirements
• Other cleaning and sanitizing duties are required
