About The Position

Under direct supervision, according to defined procedures and established schedules, performs a variety of kitchen, cafeteria, sanitation, and tray line activities. Requirements

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent Work Experience
  • 3 months experience preferred
  • Ability to work well under time constraints and to work effectively as a team member.

Responsibilities

  • Assembles trays, serves and delivers food; dispenses beverages and necessary condiments per departmental standards and regulatory agency requirements.
  • Prepares salads, sandwiches, cold plates and other items that require limited food preparation skills.
  • Maintains clean and sanitary environment in kitchen per departmental, GBMC, and regulatory agency policies, procedures, and standards.
  • Operates, cleans, and unloads dish machine according to policies and procedures. Places in appropriate storage place.
  • Washes pots and utensils per departmental, GBMC, and regulatory agency policies, procedures, and standards.
  • Adheres to GBMC and department policies for proper hygiene and dress code.
  • Performs other tasks designated by Management team.
