Position Summary and Responsibilities: The Sanitation position is responsible for performing various maintenance tasks to ensure the proper upkeep and cleanliness of BEK buildings. Strictly adhering to our safety guidelines Cleaning all surfaces of assigned areas using appropriate maintenance tools and equipment Ensuring upkeep of designated dock areas to maintain safe and clean working environment Perform additional tasks as needed.

Requirements

At least 3 months of work experience preferred.
Ability to read and interpret guidelines, operating and maintenance instructions.
Ability to receive and follow directions.
Ability to multi-task.
Strong attention to detail.
Excellent work ethic.
High School Diploma or equivalent (G.E.D.) preferred.
Must pass drug screen and physical exam.
Must be able to pass a background check
Must be willing to work in all 3 environments dry, cooler, freezer. Temp in the freezer is 10 degrees below zero.
Must be willing to learn and use a cherry-picker and work in high places (must not be afraid of heights).
Ability to learn to operate heavy warehouse equipment, such as electric pallet jacks and forklifts.
Able to stoop, kneel, crouch, and bend
Must be able to tolerate repetitive lifting
Ability to handle product weighing up to 80 lbs.
Steel-toe shoes required.
Ability to stand/walk for long periods of time
Ability to work through a (+) 8-hour shift
Must have normal use of shoulders, arms, wrist, hands, feet and legs.
The ability to hear, understand, and distinguish speech and/or other sounds

Responsibilities
