In accordance with standard operating procedures, disassemble, clean, sanitize and properly reassemble all items of the manufacturing equipment used for production. Turns valves to drain machines or tanks and disconnects pipes, using wrenches. Repetitive shoveling of mud and/or produce waste. Sprays machines, tanks, and conveyors with water to loosen and remove dirt or other foreign matter. Scrubs machines, tanks, tables, pans, bowls, compartments, and conveyors, using brushes, rags, cleaning preparations, and diluted acids. Rinses articles with water and dries them with compressed air. Scrubs floors and walls, using brushes, rags, and diluted acids. Connects hoses and lines to pump and starts pump to circulate cleaning and sterilizing solution through hoses and lines. Scrubs interior of disconnected pipes, valves, spigots, gauges, and meters, using spiral brushes. Mixes cleaning solutions and diluted acids, according to formula. Draws off samples of cleaning solutions from mixing tanks for laboratory analysis. Properly utilize all cleaning and sanitizing equipment and chemicals, reporting any equipment malfunctions. Accurately complete daily sanitation checklists and document for all assigned work areas. Follow all Good Manufacturing Practices as stated within the policy. Follows all Safety Rules and procedures by working safely and ensuring safety of others. Other duties may be assigned.
