About The Position

The Sanitation team member plays a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness and hygiene within the processing areas of George's Inc. This position involves working in a fast-paced environment, ensuring that all processing equipment and areas are thoroughly cleaned and sanitized using various chemicals and cleaning methods. Attention to detail and adherence to safety protocols are essential for success in this role.

Requirements

• 1 year of Sanitation and/or Processing experience.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for assigned area while sanitation is being accomplished.
• Utilize chemicals and cleaners to sanitize the equipment in accordance with prescribed processes and procedures.
• Utilize high pressure water hoses and hot water along with hand scrubbers or brushers to clean equipment.
• Maneuver in, around, and on top of equipment to reach areas needing to be cleaned.
• Work quickly and efficiently to meet tight deadlines to ensure shift startup is not delayed.
• Responsible for safety, making sure Lock Out Tag Out procedures and Fall Protection equipment are utilized when appropriate.
