About The Position

The Sanitation Worker at FedEx Supply Chain is responsible for maintaining a clean and sanitary environment within the warehouse and office. Requirements

• High School Diploma preferred.
• Sanitation and janitorial experience preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to read, speak, and understand English.
• Ability to adapt to a changing work environment.

Responsibilities

• Use equipment throughout the warehouse/office in a safe, efficient manner that is consistent with the company's standards of quality and productivity.
• Follow the sanitation logs and requirements that have been assigned to them.
• Use and understand the cleaning materials or liquids assigned to them.
• Manage cleaning supplies inventory and communicate any needed reorders.
• Maintain floors free of debris at all times.
• Present a clean and orderly appearance.
• Conduct operations in a manner which promotes safety.
• Report any unkempt areas of previous shifts to supervisor.
• Remove snow as seasonally required.
• Inspect sweeper scrubber equipment before and after use to ensure it is in proper working condition.
• Review or eliminate waste to help maintain a continuous flow.
