About The Position

The Sanitation Worker is an essential member of our cleaning team, responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and sanitation of all PacMoore facilities. This role ensures that every area meets the Quality Control and Bacterial Standards required by our customers and regulatory agencies. This is a third-shift position with limited supervision, so a high level of integrity and self-motivation is essential. Competencies Sanitation Workers should demonstrate the following abilities: Reading & Comprehension: Understand and apply information from labels, SOPs, policies, and safety guidelines. Task Coordination: Prioritize and sequence tasks to meet daily requirements efficiently. Communication: Clearly communicate issues or concerns to coworkers or supervisors. Decision-Making: Make sound decisions based on experience and know when to seek guidance. Interpersonal Skills: Interact respectfully and professionally with all team members. Physical Strength & Endurance: Lift up to 100 lbs. occasionally, 50 lbs. frequently, and 20 lbs. constantly; perform physical tasks such as climbing, stooping, crouching, reaching, and handling objects.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
Demonstrate effective communication and teamwork skills.
Make decisions within established guidelines.
Willingness to accept supervision, follow procedures, and commit to safety and quality standards.

Responsibilities

Clean assigned areas of the plant, including but not limited to:
Raw material warehouse (twice daily)
Warehouse racks (replace plastics as needed)
Immediate cleanup of product spills
Bathrooms and locker rooms
Truck driver’s lobby
Receiving area
Wet wash area (twice daily)
Assist with snow removal and other outdoor tasks as needed
Monitor and maintain food safety standards, including Critical Control Points (CCPs) and HACCP guidelines.
Follow all Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
