About The Position

As a Sanitation Worker, you will be responsible for following the master cleaning schedule to ensure proper cleaning of the facility and equipment. You will also complete all associated paperwork in a timely manner, as well as maintaining and promoting cleanliness in all work areas. You must have the ability to work overtime as needed.

Requirements

GENERAL EDUCATION
ABILITY TO FOLLOW VERBAL AND WRITTEN COMMUNICATION
MUST BE ABLE TO WORK 6-7 DAYS A WEEK DURING AN AUDIT
MUST BE ABLE TO WORK WEEKENDS

Nice To Haves

PRIOR SANITATION EXPERIENCE IN A FOOD MANUFACTURING FACILITY
HIGH SCHOOL DIPLOMA OR G.E.D.
ADVANCED SCHOOLING

Responsibilities

Ensure cleanliness of the facility, grounds, and equipment
Clean equipment according to master cleaning schedule and written procedures
Complete daily cleaning assignments and associated paperwork in a timely manner
Drive floor scrubbers and clean them afterwards
Clear walkways and shovel snow (seasonal)
Clean restrooms and mop floors
Removal of all trash and other waste materials, including boxes including empty garbage and take to dumpster areas
Show respect for each other in the department
Clean production equipment, removing parts as needed and putting the equipment back together for all production lines.
Comply with all GMP, Safety Procedures, Company Policies, Quality Policies, etc.
May perform other duties as required
