About The Position

A Sanitation Worker at a poultry plant is responsible for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene within the facility to ensure food safety and compliance with health regulations. The job involves cleaning and sanitizing equipment, surfaces, and areas used in the processing and packaging of poultry products.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience in sanitation, particularly in food processing or manufacturing, is preferred.
• Ability to work in cold, wet, and noisy environments.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions precisely.
• Physically able to perform manual labor, including lifting up to 50 pounds, standing for extended periods, and working in confined spaces.
• Knowledge of sanitation practices and cleaning chemicals.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good communication skills to report issues and work effectively with others.
• Time management skills to complete tasks within scheduled timeframes.
