About The Position

We are seeking a hardworking, reliable and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Sanitation Department Staff. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and sanitation of all production areas in our commercial bakery, in compliance with food safety and hygiene standards.

Requirements

Familiarity with sanitation regulations and best practices.
Ability to operate and maintain industrial cleaning equipment.
Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
Flexibility to work all 3 shifts as needed.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Nice To Haves

At least 2 years of experience in a similar sanitation role in a food production environment

Responsibilities

Clean and sanitize all bakery equipment, floors, walls, and ceilings, using approved cleaning agents and methods.
Operate and maintain industrial cleaning equipment such as power washers, steamers, and scrubbers.
Monitor the cleanliness of the bakery areas and report any issues to the production manager.
Follow all safety procedures and guidelines when handling cleaning chemicals and equipment.
Ensure that all sanitation tasks are completed within the allocated time frames and meet quality standards.
Work collaboratively with other departments to maintain a clean and organized production environment.
Adhere to all company policies and procedures and participate in ongoing training and development programs.
