About The Position

The sanitation employee, under direction of the DC Manager, is to keep assigned areas of the facility clean and orderly; and to perform related duties as required. To perform manual labor and a variety of duties relative to assigned area of responsibility.

Requirements

• Must be responsible for the cleaning and sanitizing of the equipment and work areas.
• Must comply with all Good Manufacturing Practices
• Must complete in-house chemical training and must be able to work in wet, cold or hot environments.
• Must be able to work weekends and overtime as needed.
• Must be able to follow safety precautions and procedures.
• Must have basic knowledge of how to handle and operate cleaning equipment, process equipment, and chemical equipment.
• Must be able to perform physical work such as standing, pushing, pulling, stooping, kneeling, crouching, and reaching.
• Ability to follow instructions and established procedures.
• To adhere to all company policies and to act as a role model in the adherence to company policies.
• Must be able to read and follow areas of assigned duties on the Master Cleaning Schedule.
