About The Position

The Sanitation / Warehouse Worker is responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and sanitary warehouse environment. This role performs general janitorial and sanitation duties throughout the facility, including dry storage, cooler, and freezer areas. The position supports operational efficiency by ensuring all workspaces meet cleanliness and safety standards.

Requirements

Ability to follow safety procedures and sanitation guidelines.
Comfortable working in varying temperature environments.
Ability to lift, move, and transport materials as required.
Basic knowledge of warehouse cleaning equipment preferred.
Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

Perform general cleaning and sanitation duties throughout the warehouse facility.
Sweep, dust, mop, and maintain floors in dry, refrigerated, and freezer environments.
Collect and dispose of trash and refuse in designated receptacles.
Operate trash compactors in accordance with safety procedures.
Transport refuse and materials using a pallet jack as needed.
Clean and sanitize equipment, work areas, and surfaces.
Perform similar cleaning duties in office or administrative areas when assigned.
Safely handle and use cleaning chemicals according to established guidelines.
Maintain compliance with all workplace safety standards and sanitation protocols.
Complete additional tasks and duties as assigned based on business needs.
