About The Position

The GMP Cleaner position at ABM Industrial Services Inc. is responsible for cleaning and disinfecting areas and equipment in compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMPs). This role supports the production of Master and Working Cell Banks and is crucial in maintaining the cleanliness and safety of facilities involved in Cell & Gene Therapy manufacturing.

Requirements

• Must have experience in sanitizing critical areas such as hospitals, pharmaceuticals, medical devices, or the food industry.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• No high school diploma, GED or college degree required.
• Must be able to read, write, and speak in English.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in sanitizing critical areas such as hospitals, pharmaceuticals, medical devices, or the food industry.
• Aseptic cleaning experience.
• Customer Service Experience.
• Six months of similar work experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform cleaning and sanitization of GMP areas, equipment, and facilities to meet cGMP standards.
• Follow aseptic techniques and adhere to cleaning schedules for controlled environments.
• Prepare and use cleaning solutions as per protocols, ensuring proper storage and handling.
• Maintain compliance with SOPs, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Organize and monitor cleaning supplies, reporting shortages or discrepancies.
• Participate in pre-audit walk throughs to ensure readiness and compliance.
• Clean floors, walls, and equipment using prescribed methods and tools.
• Support documentation of cleaning activities, including reports on non-conformances or deviations.
• Operate and maintain cleaning equipment effectively.
• Perform additional tasks as needed to meet operational goals.
