About The Position

Essential Functions Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. 2nd shift 5:30 pm - 4:00 am · Responsible for effective sanitation of the various plant equipment and departments. · Must be able to follow equipment cleaning instructions as listed in the Sanitation Procedures Manual. · Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment. · Must become familiar with cleaning chemicals by name, function, and usage rate and become chemical certified. · Timely notification to Maintenance, Supervisor and/or Lead of equipment problems. · Notify Supervisor and/or Lead of actual or potential problems. · Must be able to follow verbal instructions from Supervisor and/or Lead. · Must be detail oriented and be able to work independently. · Responsible for compliance with GMP’s, proper sanitation, and housekeeping in area. · Responsible for use of required safety equipment and complying with proper safety procedures including wearing proper protective clothing, steal toe boots and safety googles at all times. · Other duties as assigned by Management or volunteered for. Requirements

Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment.
Must become familiar with cleaning chemicals by name, function, and usage rate and become chemical certified.
Must be able to follow verbal instructions from Supervisor and/or Lead.
Must be detail oriented and be able to work independently.
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance procedures a variety of instructions, diagrams or schedules.
Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.

Nice To Haves

Experience operating a forklift.
Experience using a variety of equipment including a power washer.
Previous sanitation experience.
