About The Position

About the Role: As a core member of our production team, you will be expected to: Be responsible for daily cleaning of all production equipment and set up of the same equipment for the next days production run in accordance with all company standards Support the production of safe, high quality products (SQF) and team member safety Work with chemicals (various concentrations of caustics & acids), drainage systems, & confined spaces in a wet and humid environment at times As your employer, Perry’s will help you to achieve all of the above goals through feedback, education, and continuous professional development.

Requirements

  • Minimum educational requirement of a high school diploma or GED equivalent
  • Physical requirements: Ability to physically lift up to 60 pounds, push, pull, climb, squat, and bend frequently throughout the shift
  • Tolerance of variable work environment with temperatures ranging 40°F to 90° F
  • Able to work at heights using ladders, platforms or mechanical lifts using OSHA required fall protection
  • Basic mechanical skills for machine disassembly and reassembly
  • Perform basic math skills
  • Perform basic measurements using scales and liquid measures
  • Perform reading & understanding and analyzing of charts
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills including ability to work as a team
  • Basic computer keyboarding skills & touchscreen technology
  • Schedule flexibility including potential to train on various shifts
  • Able to handle chemicals such as caustics, acids (high concentration levels) and CIP systems in addition
  • Ability to work in a wet and humid environment
  • Commitment to supporting safe, high quality food products, general manufacturing practices, and team member safety.
