We’re here to better our world with biology. Join us as our new Sanitation Technician As a sanitation technician, your role is crucial in maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards. Your responsibilities are ensuring compliance with sanitation protocols, executing thorough cleaning procedures, and contributing to a safe and hygienic working environment. Additionally, you could emphasize your attention to detail, understanding of industry regulations, and commitment to upholding high standards of cleanliness. In this role you'll make an impact by: Execute Cleaning Procedures: Perform thorough cleaning and sanitation of production areas, equipment, and facilities according to established protocols and standards. Compliance with Sanitation Regulations: Ensure adherence to industry-specific regulations and guidelines for cleanliness and hygiene, maintaining records of sanitation activities as required. Equipment Maintenance: Maintain and sanitize cleaning equipment, ensuring their proper functioning and safe operation. Chemical Handling and Dilution: Safely handle, mix, and apply cleaning chemicals and sanitizers following appropriate dilution and safety protocol. Support Sanitation Improvement Initiatives: Collaborate with the team to identify and implement process improvements in sanitation practices and efficiency. Documentation and Record-Keeping: Maintain accurate records of sanitation activities, including cleaning schedules, chemical usage, and inspection reports. Requirements

  • HS diploma or equivalent
  • Attention to detail and ability to follow strict sanitation protocols.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Basic mechanical knowledge to disassemble and reassemble equipment.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Physical ability to stoop, kneel, crouch, and occasionally lift up to 50 lbs.

Nice To Haves

  • Training in sanitation or food safety is a plus
  • Prior experience in sanitation within a food, pharmaceutical, or dietary supplement manufacturing environment preferred.
  • Knowledge of cGMP, 21 CFR Part 111, and FDA regulatory requirements is a strong advantage.
