About The Position

We are hiring for a Sanitation Team Member at our Louisville, KY facility. You will report to the Sanitation Team Lead. You will report onsite at our Louisville, KY Location. Hourly Rate: $22.45 + .25 shift differential Overtime as scheduled (daily and weekend) Your schedule includes weekend work on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, along with one 8‑hour weekday shift. Weekend shifts consist of three 12‑hour day shifts. There could be additional days depending on the need of the department. Reporting to the Sanitation Team Leader, you will keep our fast‑paced facility running by cleaning and sanitizing production equipment and areas during 1st shift. You will work hands‑on with high‑pressure hoses, equipment disassembly, and sanitation tools to ensure a safe, food‑safe environment that supports smooth production.

Requirements

• 1+ years of sanitation or related experience (ideal).
• Understanding of basic machine operations.
• Physical requirements: – Lift up to 25 lbs occasionally and up to 50 lbs occasionally when positioning items. – Push/pull negligible force consistently and up to 10 lbs frequently.

• Knowledge of GMPs and safety (ideal).

Responsibilities

• Clean, sanitize, and inspect equipment and production areas.
• Gather chemicals, tools, and utensils needed for cleaning.
• Assemble and disassemble equipment for sanitation.
• Rinse and clean conveyors, rollers, and hoppers with high‑pressure hoses.
• Clean drains in assigned zones.
• Sanitize tools and utensils.
• Remove water, grease, and debris.
• Perform housekeeping in common areas.
• Follow lockout/tagout procedures.
• Apply GMPs, plant safety, chemical handling, and MSDS practices.
• Support 5S and CPS.
• Work overtime or flex as production requires.
