About The Position

Sanitation Technicians are responsible for keeping all production areas in a clean and orderly condition to ensure compliance standards are met and production functions as expected. As a Sanitation Technician, you’ll help keep production clean and efficient by: Cleaning equipment and production areas Assisting and guiding team members with sanitation tasks Ensuring cleaning meets quality and safety standards Following SOPs for chemical and equipment use Removing trash and recycling regularly Reporting supply needs to your supervisor Completing required cleaning documentation

Requirements

  • Proven sanitation experience in a manufacturing/production/industrial environment required
  • Ability to stand for long periods of time & ability to lift upwards of 30lbs
  • Valid WHMIS certification or willingness to obtain upon hire
  • Proven ability to work in a team environment and work independently
  • Professional attitude and appearance
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Solid written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong multitasking and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks
  • You’ll need to be at least 19 years old and legally authorized to work in Canada.
  • All successful candidates are required to pass background checks
  • Some tasks involve working with cleaning products, wearing protective equipment, and exposure to plant materials (not suitable for individuals with related allergies or sensitivities).
  • The work environment can include warm, humid conditions with varied lighting.
