Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED preferred
- For safety purposes, must have communication skills including reading, writing and must be able to communicate to others as well as be able to receive communication from others
- Must have good attendance
- Must have basic math skills
- Must be safety and quality conscious
- Must be able to lift up to 35lbs. repeatedly throughout the day
- Must have a Strong work ethic and be detail oriented
- Must have the ability to work well with others in a team environment or by yourself with limited supervision
- Must be self-motivated, hardworking, and have the ability to complete and find tasks in the absence of supervision
- Must have a willingness to learn new procedures and processes
- Must be able to work in wet and oily areas
- Must be able to work around strong smells
- Must be physically able to be on your feet the entire shift and perform all tasks which include walking, bending, twisting, reaching, pulling, pushing, kneeling, climbing, crouching and lifting
- Requires good eyesight, “with or without corrective lenses”
- Ability to read this with ease
Responsibilities
- Disassembles, cleans, sanitizes, and reassembles processing equipment
- Performs cleaning in accordance with established guidelines and specifications, and ensures equipment is operational for production runs
- Prepares and handles sanitation chemicals and equipment
- Consistently arrive at work on time and fit for duty
- Perform all work in accordance with company standards and established safety procedures
- Following established GMP's and wear proper PPE when needed
- Keep your area clean at all times, keep tools picked up
- Follow SOP steps, to complete the task of keeping totes and utensils clean
