About The Position
This is an entry level position that supports operations with general sanitation and end of line production tasks. Essential duties and responsibilities include following established standard operating procedures and good manufacturing practices to perform janitorial tasks throughout the facility as assigned by upper management. The role involves using specialized sanitation tools and chemicals to clean equipment and surfaces to food grade standard, completing job duties that support all plant safety, food safety, quality and environmental practices while maintaining a clean and sanitary work area, and completing documentation related to cleaning and sanitation of equipment with accuracy and attention to detail. The position also requires reporting any food safety issues, repairs, security breaches, product tampering or contamination, or other suspicious behavior to upper management, operating industrial equipment and chemicals to clean and sanitize production equipment and production areas, and adhering to various guidelines and procedures such as HAACP, SQF, GMPs, MSS, DRL, and IPM.
