About The Position

The Sanitation Tech position at Winland Foods involves cleaning and sanitizing food manufacturing equipment, including Mixing/Blending, Monitor, and Packaging, to meet Quality Control and Bacterial Standards imposed by customers and governmental agencies such as the USDA and FDA. Responsibilities include washing equipment, full line or room cleaning, janitorial cleaning of restrooms, breakrooms, and office areas, and handling facility recycling and waste disposal. Employees must follow Plant Safety, SQF, FSMA, Food Safety-HACCP, GMP, Food Quality, Food Defense, and Food Fraud policies and report any discrepancies immediately.

Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize food manufacturing equipment including Mixing/Blending, Monitor, and Packaging.
• Wash equipment (Tear Down Wash).
• Perform full line or room cleaning.
• Conduct janitorial cleaning (restrooms, breakrooms, and office areas).
• Handle bailing of facility recycles and waste disposal.
• Use chemicals safely for cleaning purposes.
• Follow Plant Safety, SQF, FSMA, Food Safety-HACCP, GMP, Food Quality, Food Defense, and Food Fraud policies.
• Report any discrepancies immediately.
• Work closely with all plant departmental teams to meet safety and cleaning objectives.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Benefits

• Pay is $21.22 per hour.
• Sign on bonus of $150 on date of hire, $250 after 90 days, and $600 after 9 months (attendance and probationary policies apply).
