About The Position

The Sanitation Technician I position at Vitality Works Inc. is responsible for maintaining cleanliness and organization in production areas, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards. This role involves cleaning various surfaces and equipment, restocking utensils, and adhering to Standard Operating Procedures with minimal supervision. The technician plays a crucial role in supporting the production team by ensuring a safe and hygienic work environment.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to understand written and spoken information in English
• Ability to communicate clearly, professionally and effectively

Responsibilities

• Maintain visitor-ready work environment ensuring Production, wash room, and areas surrounding Production are organized, safe and clean.
• Understand and routinely adhere to Standard Operating Procedures.
• Participate in the development and improvement of Standard Operating Procedures.
• Ensure all production and packaging utensils, blending and storage containers are washed and clean.
• Restock all clean and dry utensils, blending and storage containers in designated areas in production.
• Clean production floors, walls, ceilings, windows, surfaces and assigned equipment ensuring documentation is up to date on all cleaning logs.
• Empty and dispose of all trash in production areas.
• Take directions from Production Tech III, Production Supervisors/Managers, and QA.
• Notify Production Supervisors/Manager, QA, and/or Production Support Tech III with any concerns regarding the possibility of nonconforming product or environment.
