About The Position

Hello! We are looking for a dedicated Sanitation Team member II to join the team! Del Real Foods is a traditional Mexican food manufacturer born out of a family farm. The Sanitation Team member will work Under general supervision, a sanitation team member II performs a full range of Sanitation assignments using Sanitation’s Lead, Supervisor guidance organizing, covering, washing, cleaning and sanitizing equipment and/or utensils.

Requirements

  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred, but not required
  • High School/ G.E.D
  • Minimum 1 year to 3 years’ experience on the field (Food Industry is a plus)

Responsibilities

  • Ability to perform plant sanitation SOP’s.
  • Understands all  safety procedures such as lock out Tag out and covering water sensitive equipment before the   sanitation procedure.
  • Experienced with sanitation tasks in all departments and outside building premises.
  • Intermediate ability to clean, wash and sanitize all production and packaging equipment.
  • Intermediate Ability to mix sanitation chemicals and utilize washing tools (Safety chemical training, Titration training needed)
  • Experienced with disassemble and assemble equipment   to be washed and sanitized
  • Intermediate knowledge of the correct chemical utilization and concentration for each sanitation task.
  • Experienced utilizing cleaning and sanitation tool.
  • Proficient in SSOP’s.
  • Experienced with chemical mixtures for his assigned tasks.
  • Intermediate knowledge of all the correct chemical concentrations for food disinfecting and product cooling tanks.
  • Experienced cleaning chemical solutions, wash & sanitize surfaces and equipment using CFS stations and portable foamers.
  • Intermediate knowledge of proper cleaning of equipment and utensils during and after producing allergen   products.
  • Intermediate ability to work with high pressure hot water nozzles
  • Communicates effectively at all levels in the maintenance and operating departments.
  • Intermediate ability of measures (Oz. Lbs. Gals.)
