AVI Foodsystems is looking for an energetic and optimistic team member to immediately hire to fill the role of Sanitation Supervisor at our Culinary Support Center in Warren, OH at our food production facility . This role directly manages the sanitation staff and inventory, ensuring that employees adhere to our SSOP as well as local and federal regulations. This role is essential to the health and success of our business and should take pride in the fact that the items that are produced uphold the highest quality standards. We are looking for someone who can prevent issues before they affect production, so applicants should have a working knowledge of HAACP and must also be familiar with the safe application of disinfectants and other chemicals.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED certificate
• Working knowledge of HAACP (hazard analysis and critical control points)
• Communication skills
• Basic computer skills

• Bachelor's degree
• Experience in a food production environment
• Management experience

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily sanitation operations.
• Schedule and train sanitation employees.
• Maintain inventory of disinfectants and other cleaning supplies.
• Keep documentation of cleaning schedule.
• Update our SSOP (sanitation standard operating procedure) as needed.
• Conduct workplace audits to ensure compliance with FDA regulations
• Follow SQF (safe quality food) policies and GMPs (good manufacturing practices)
