About The Position

We are looking for an experienced sanitation supervisor to design and implement our company’s sanitation policies. As a sanitation supervisor, you will be responsible for developing sanitation protocols in line with state health and safety regulations. You will also be required to conduct daily sanitation inspections, and oversee staff training. To be successful as a sanitation supervisor, you should demonstrate strong leadership skills, detailed knowledge of the food and beverage industry, and a good eye for detail. A top-notch sanitation supervisor ensures the manufacturing facility is always up to code and running efficiently.

Responsibilities

Provides quality service with attention to detail.
Cleans and polishes furniture and fixtures.
Moves heavy furniture, equipment and supplies.
Notifies managers about the need for major repairs or additions to building operating systems.
Requisitions supplies and equipment for cleaning and maintenance duties.
Sprays insecticides and fumigants to prevent insect and rodent infestation.
Cleans building floors by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing or vacuuming; gathers and empties trash; services, clean supplies.
Supervises and trains hourly staff to ensure policy and procedures are implemented.
Maintains consistent, efficient service during peak hours.
Follows principles of sanitation and safety in handling food and equipment.
Performs other duties as assigned.
