About The Position

The purpose of Sanitation is to clean equipment and facility items in the make-up and finishing room areas. Master sanitation duties will be assigned after the daily duties have been completed.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • 1 or more year’s sanitation experience in a production setting
  • Training on the proper operation of the hotsy, foamer, and aggressive chemical handling
  • General plant annual safety training, and specific machine hazards for the area.
  • Chemical Handling training
  • Confined Space training
  • Lockout/Tagout training
  • Required PPE includes; nitrile gloves, hard soled shoes, hair nets, ear plugs, safety glasses, provided sanitation uniform and boots.
  • While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; reach with hands and arms; stoop, talk or hear.
  • The employee is occasionally required to stand, shuffle, walk and occasionally have to be able to walk upstairs without assistance.
  • The employee must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

  • Sanitation employees perform cleaning duties as assigned including, but not limited to the following; conveyors, de-panner, cornucopias, dust collector for cornucopia, dough conveyors, dough chunker, proof box, ovens, mixer, CO2 freezers, foremost baggers, pumps, butter applicators, Wilevco applicator, R.A. Jones Cartoner, case packers, boxers, production floor drains.
  • Mixing and Handling of aggressive chemicals
  • Understand and adhere to standard GMP's
  • Required to perform other duties as requested, directed, or assigned.
