About The Position

The Sanitation Specialist - Food Services at Aramark is responsible for coordinating safety, sanitation, and risk programs within the healthcare environment. This role focuses on implementing processes and procedures to protect people, property, and the environment while enhancing sanitation and safety standards. The specialist will serve as a key operational support leader, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and providing training and support to staff.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Safety & Health, Business Administration, or Public Health preferred; high school diploma plus equivalent experience accepted.
• 3-5+ years of experience in food safety, environmental services, or occupational safety.
• Certified ServSafe trainer preferred or ability to obtain certification within the first 6 months of employment.
• Previous management or training experience required.
• Experience in a high-volume venue or health/regulatory department preferred.

Nice To Haves

• Ability to work event-based hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Previous culinary experience in a healthcare setting.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with Aramark Safety & Risk Solutions team and district leadership to implement and enforce safety commitments.
• Assist site-based management teams in executing sanitation and safety standards.
• Maintain high levels of customer service and quality control across supported locations.
• Collaborate with local and regional compliance authorities to ensure adherence to health regulations.
• Verify the implementation of Aramark safety standards and procedures.
• Accompany regulatory inspectors during on-site inspections and address compliance issues.
• Manage corrective action processes to comply with regulatory requirements and improve safety systems.
• Participate in sanitation activities as they arise.
• Support new business mobilizations and partnership activations.
