About The Position

Bongards’ Creameries is seeking a Sanitation Relief Operator based out of our Humboldt facility. The Sanitation Relief Operator is responsible for assisting the Lead and Supervisor with sanitation of production equipment and the whole factory while following standard operating procedures. The Relief operator is required to know all processes, procedures and will develop into becoming a subject matter expert for sanitation.

Requirements

High School diploma or equivalent
Excellent Math and Reading skills
Strong interpersonal, organizational and communication skills
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to manage multiple priorities while meeting deadlines
Ability to work independently on assigned duties
Strong mechanical aptitude
Knowledge of HMI, Powered Industrial Trucks
Must adhere to and follow all Safety, GMP, other Quality guidelines
Must maintain highest quality standards for plant and equipment cleanliness
Must report all food safety problems to immediate supervisor or designated replacement
Must be able to lift up to 55 lbs

Responsibilities

Must learn and demonstrate proficiency in all procedures associated with sanitation
Provide break coverage to sanitation team members
Fill in for any and all types of absences or leaves, including Lead person
Follow Sanitation Standard Operating Procedures and other SOP’s
Break down equipment, clean and sanitize work areas
Set up equipment for inspection and start up
Safe operation of high-pressure hoses
Ongoing Chemical, GMP and HACCP training
Powered Industrial Truck Training and Certification
Manage multiple sanitation assignments
Work in a safe and proficient manner
Other duties as assigned
